ForkTrack Update - Rollout Proceeding on Schedule

AAL's Forktrack fleet management system has successfully completed exhaustive field trials and is now being installed on forklift fleets at Coca-Cola Amatil, Amcor, Border Express, Visy and Golden Circle.

With the roll out proceeding to schedule 500 forklifts will be operating nationally by March 2008 and a 1000 by the years end. Forktrack will seamlessly interface with AAL’s PDA mobile network transmitting data to its own dedicated server.

AAL Occupational Health & Safety

We are pleased to announce that AAL's workplace injury rate (measured by lost time injury frequency rate) has been steadily declining since we began using this method three years ago.

Of course our ultimate aim is for our workplace to be free of injuries, and we believe this could be achievable through both continuous improvement of safety practices and constant awareness by all employees of the safety of themselves and their colleagues.

Our current focus is on creating an action plan for improving our safety practices in each branch, and therefore minimising the likelihood of injury at work.

Golden Circle re-signs

AAL are pleased to announce we have recently re-signed Golden Circle for a further 60 month period for 82 units including an additional 9 new Crown Double-deep reach trucks.

Golden circle is owned by 850 farmer shareholders whose fruit and vegetables are used to make Golden Circle's broad product range. This includes:
- Tinned fruit & vegetables
- Jams
- Various fruit juice drinks

AAL have been Golden Circle's forklift fleet manager for over 14 years.
